A while ago, I was talking with my co-workers about how boring our morning routine is and how we wanted to liven them up so we wouldn’t drop a good thing in our day. Everyone started sharing the things they loved and hated from their routine, and I came away with some good ideas. So I wanted to share the best ideas
One thing that came up was we treat our morning routines in very different ways; it was funny how different we all are. Some could start the day without a run, others needed that substantial breakfast. We were all different. We need what we need. There are no rules even though you will have hundreds of Gurus claiming their teaching is vital. For most of us, the beauty routine was a must on our list, but we needed to inject a bit of variety and make it special.
Here Are Five Great Ideas to Revive Your Morning Routine
1. SOAP WITH ESSENTIAL OILS
Whether you start your day with a shower or you just wash your face, do it in style with a bar of soap or body wash imbued with essential oils. The aromatherapy will put you in the mood and can have impressive health benefits. If you like to start your day relaxed or invigorated, choose the oils right for you.
Everyone wants to claim it’s the most important meal of the day. What I have found trying different things approaches is that if I have a big breakfast, I feel sluggish the whole day. If you like a big breakfast, go for it. Don’t sweat it. If you don’t want to have breakfast, then that’s fine too, and you should find the breakfast option that appeals to you. You might just enjoy a tea or coffee. Feel free to make the morning yours.
3 SKIN CARE AND MAKEUP
One thing we all agreed on was that we wanted to start feeling incredible and looking great. I found these amazing collections on Lovery.com; they make these fantastic home spa gift kits. I love giving myself a gift, and they’re packed with different beauty products. It was something I bought straight away. It has really brightened up my morning.
A few of the group are very serious about getting a 40-minute workout in before work. Personally, I exhausted after such a long session. What I do like is everything a clear head and feeling energized, so doing a small low-intensity workout does it for me. If you haven’t found the theme yet for this post, do what you feel is right for you. Start your day feeling confident and excellent.
This might be a particular idea but one of my co-workers raised it. She always meditates. She challenged us to meditate each day for a week. We had to think and imagine the kind of person we wanted to be, the kind of day we wanted to have. It has become something that has transformed our day, our work, and our relationships.
